As always, greetings to everyone who reads our blog. The first winter update from Softinventive Lab has arrived. This time, the TNI team brings us another oft-requested feature that will make work easier for many of our users. TNI 3 can now not only create reports and export them in a convenient format, but do it automatically according to the schedule you’ve set. A lot of time can be saved if you have both the automatic network scanner and the report builder up and running.
Here’s the complete list of changes:

Glad to welcome you again. It seems that summer has come to an end, but, despite the holiday season, our developer team has continued to delight you with compelling program updates! The key point of today’s update is the ability to customize partial synchronization of Active Directory with your TNI storage. First one is simple: imagine that you need a list of computers with less than 10GB free space left on the C drive before installing some huge OS update or a new software product. This can be achieved rather quickly:
Open the Table reports tab, copy the existing Logical disks template or create a similar one. …

The new TNI update is here, bringing you the long-awaited SNMPv3 support and a few minor fixes and updates:

  • BIG FEATURESupport for scanning of network devices via SNMP v2c and v3.
  • NewAbility to switch to Change log via keyboard: Ctrl+5.
  • ImprovedReporting of license usage on the status bar.
  • ImprovedCompatibility with Total Software Deployment when working with the same network storage.
  • FixedSAM: Returned ability to unmerge one software item from a collection.
  • FixedStandard actions “Reboot” and “Poweroff”.
  • FixedScan of SNMPv1 devices.

At last our users who have network devices that don’t support SNMPv1 …

Dear friends! Over the past 3 months we have spent a lot of time making significant improvements to our network scanner. We improved its stability, reliability and scanning speed. In addition, TNI now supports scanning VMware assets via HTTPS protocol.

Thus, at the moment TNI can scan virtually anything, with a single click:

Now we can confidently say how a typical Softinventive product looks like smile
