Hi,
Just to let you know that the TNI.exe file is being reported a Backdoor.CEP trojan by our Enterprise antivirus software.

Thanks for the note. This is obviously a false alarm, and we have received many notifications from the users who have McAfee antivirus products for the last two days. Of course this file is not a trojan in any case. This is not the first time they flag our product incorrectly. It seems that it have happened in one of the last antivirus bases updates. We have addressed McAfee support and were told to expect some response in about a week. Meanwhile it is possible to include the file or the program's installation folder to exceptions/exclusions.

Thanks for your response. I did plan to add this to the list of exclusions. I would prefer if McAfee addresses it soon though.

Hello
I can tell you that the Norman AntiVirus does the same thing with the TNI-application.
With kind regards

Thanks for the information. According to the today's testing on virustotal dot com, current version of TNI is wrongly detected only by SecureWeb-Gateway. We are working on this issue now. Other antiviruses like McAfee, Norman and Panda does not falsely detect our file anymore.

Just to confirm that McAfee is no longer flagging TNI as a threat.

The newest version of AVG 9.0.856 does report this as a virus. There is a cloaked virus using the same name as TNI.exe.AVG however does not.
File size is different for this trojan.

Thank you, we will check this.
UPD: Here are the results for the latest tni.exe (1.6.8.2850) on virustotal dot com. Unfortunately they have no AVG at the moment. However 40 other antiviruses show no threat, except for one generic alert.
UPD2: AVG 9.0.856, virus DB 271.1.1/3157 (2010.09.25) does not report any threats on any of the program's files.
